About Us
Enriching our Big Lake community
Community Education is exactly what its name implies: a way for community members, schools, local businesses and organizations to come together as active partners in addressing community opportunities, needs, and/or concerns. In other words, we provide educational resources that help raise the quality of life in our Big Lake community!

Opportunities to Get Involved
Teach a Class, Earn Extra Cash!
Here's your chance to earn some extra cash! Whatever your talents or passions are, teach a class (0n your schedule) to share it with the community.
Some ideas include anime/manga, cooking/baking, sewing/crafting, theatre, Spanish, car basics, adulting, chess, karate, and so much more—the sky is the limit!
Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC)
We love to bring community partners together to review past happenings in Community Education and come up with even more ideas on how to support the local community we love. Join our engaging conversations—we meet four times a year for an hour at a time. Minimal commitment, maximum results!
Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
The Early Childhood Parent Advisory Council supports our youngest learners through family-friendly events, educational and classroom scholarships, community outreach, fundraisers, sponsoring field trips, and supporting teachers. This group meets monthly during the school year and free childcare is provided.
