Community Education Advisory Council

Helping shape the future of Community Education programming

The backbone of a successful Community Education program is a representative volunteer advisory council. Big Lake Schools' Community Education Advisory Council routinely brings ideas, provides feedback, and makes recommendations to the Community Education program to keep our community engaged and active!

Council members meet on Tuesdays for one hour, four times a year for engaging conversations to review what has happened in Community Education and come up with even more amazing ideas on how to support the Big Lake community that we love. For minimal commit, you can help us achieve maximum results!

Our Big Lake Community Education Advisory Council attempts to maintain a membership reflecting the demographics of the district, and that of a diverse background, race, gender, age, and occupation.  We welcome interested volunteers of all ages who are willing and able to be actively involved in their community and local school district.

Join in on the fun!
