Early Childhood

Supporting our youngest Hornets on their learning journey

Big Lake Early Childhood supports the whole family by recognizing families provide the child's first and most important learning environments. We are not a one-size fits all program. We meet our families where they are at through daytime and evening classes, and also by offering home visits, daycare visits and even nature-based classes.

Our program encourages learning and growth through play and discovery. We believe that children grow at their own pace, and we support their development in ways that help them become confident in themselves as lifelong learners. We invite your family to come and join ours!

It is our goal to create an environment and program where the child’s natural desire to learn is stimulated through meaningful, appropriate and playful learning experiences—one that meets the needs of each child as an individual
