Screening
If your child is three, it's time to screen!
The early childhood years from birth to age five are an important time of rapid learning and growth. Early Childhood Screening is a state-required quick check of how your child is growing and developing. Between the ages of 3-5, screening can detect possible health or learning concerns so children can get help before they start school. All of the information from your child's Early Childhood Screening is important to their school success. After the screening, you will know how your child is growing, developing and learning.

Fill Out a Census Form
If you recently moved into the Big Lake School District, adopted a child 0-5 years old (who is not yet enrolled in school), or had a new baby, we need to know! Funding for our Early Childhood programs are dependent on how many children ages 0-5 years old live within our district. Additionally, we use this data to send families important age-related information, including information about required early childhood screening, our preschool program, kindergarten registration, and more.
Simply fill out the Census Form and submit it by email to census@biglakeschools.org; you can also mail it to (or drop it off in person at) the Community Education office located located inside Liberty Elementary School (17901 205th Avenue NW).
